Ingredients
- 1 cup (110 g) Cambrooke Wel-Made Baking Mix
- ¼ cup (55 g) butter, softened
- 1¼ cup of water
- 1 tsp (5 g) vegetable oil
- 1 tsp (6 g) salt
- ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
- ½ cup corn starch
- 3 tsp (14 g) baking powder
- ½ cup corn meal
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Grease a 9" x 5" bread loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix the all dry ingredients together.
- Add softened butter then oil, mixing with fingers until crumbly.
- Gradually mix in the water until combined and smooth.
- Pour mixture into the greased loaf pan and bake for 15 to 25 minutes until baked through.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
